You : Jack Harkness x Reader

It was wonderful, breath taking and completely scary all at the same time. You saw the fall of Rome, the rise of a new empire and visited completely different planets. All because a blue box landed in the street and you got charmed by Jack Harkness and decided it would be a fantastic idea to join him and Doctor on their travels. And it was, you stood by your decision to go with them and you enjoyed it thoroughly but something played on your mind. You and Jack engaged in a physical relationship yet he still flirted with other people, aliens, robots. Slowly it made you worry that you were not enough and he would leave or suggest you return back to Earth, you had no idea how you would cope if that happened.

Jack opened the door to room you shared on the Tardis. You were sat on the edge of the double bed facing the opposite wall so did not know he entered but he could tell something was wrong. You had become more distant over the last few journeys, spending more time with the Doctor and only entering your room to sleep and dress. A small sob escaped you causing him to walk around and sit next to you. He placed his hand on your shoulder only for you to shrug it off.

“What's up beautiful?”

“Don't say things you don't mean.”

A puzzled look passed over Jack's face as you moved further away from him. You kept your face away from his unable to look him in the eyes. Swiftly he slid onto the floor between your legs and reached up and gently held your face between his hands. Tears streaked down your face as you feebly attempted to push his hands away.  

“I did mean it (Name)”

“How was I suppose to know? You flirt with everything.” your voice was sharp and full of annoyance.

Jack knelt up and pressed a kiss to your forehead. “I'm just saying hello. I can't help it if they find me good looking.”

You shot him a dark look and he realised what was wrong, you doubted his feelings. Without another word his hands drop from your face and snaked around your waist before pulling you to the floor and into his lap. You twisted so you could wrap your arms around his back and bury your face into his chest as he rubbed circles on your back.  

“I don't know why you would be with me. You have all of space and time to explore, surely there is someone out there better than me.”

Jack said nothing but pulled away so you could see each others face. (E/c) eyes ran across his face, lingering on his soft looking lips whilst blue eyes stared at your plump lips. Jack raised his hand and cupped the side of your face, his thumb running across your jawline. The hand moved around to the back of your head and pulled you to him as his lips found yours. He tasted minty as you pushed your lips against his, burying your hands into his brown hair. The kiss was full of passion and want something that was reflected in his eyes once he pulled away.

“There is no one better than you.”
